Scope of Position
The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing health care services to adult patients within the parameters of a standard care agreement with an attending physician member of James Cancer Hospital and Research Institute.
Position Summary
The Nurse Practitioner provides health care services to adult patients working in collaboration with a licensed physician member of CHRI medical staff. Health care services provided include care during acute and chronic phases of illness, education and counseling of individuals and families, health promotion and prevention and referral to other health care providers and community resources when appropriate.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's of Science Degree or DNP in Nursing or Master's in Physician Assistant Science. APRN License or Certification as an NP or PA-C. 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
