Anesthesiologist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Mason City, Iowa

A hospital is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage.
Mason City, Iowa, offers award-winning attractions, one-of-a-kind shops, eateries, and fabulous shopping all blended with rich history and stunning architecture.
This opportunity offers weekday hours from 7:00 AM to around 3:15/3:30 PM, with optional weekend call available. The Cardiac MD will either focus on scheduled cardiac cases or assist in the cath lab and other departments, and will have a student shadowing at some point. CRNAs will handle general, GI, ortho, spine, L&D, OB, and healthy pediatric cases. The EMR is currently Cerner, with a transition to Epic planned for this summer. There are 9 ORs on site, and the team includes 4 general MDs and 1 CRNA. Some supervision is expected for CRNAs, while MDs will be fully hands-on.
