Potential to float to Stanley, Antigo, Wausau, MerrillOn Call/Call Back: NoneWeekends: Every otherHolidays: Every otherMinimum 1 year inpatient experience REQUIREDRequired License/Certifications: WI CNA license, AHA or ARC BLSCharting: Epic experience STRONGLY preferredUnit Information: MS Unit : Patient Ratio 1:10-1:15 The major conditions/most frequent diagnoses treated: Adults - respiratory illnesses, stroke, other neurological conditions (such as seizure disorders, Multiple Sclerosis, chronic back pain), gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, urinary tract disorders, sepsis, wound care, clotting disorders, other infectious disease processes, and acute alcohol withdrawal.Desired Skillset: Assist with ADLs, full set vitals, POC blood glucose, Foley care/empty, bladder scan, remove PIV's, empty ostomy pouches, sitter 1:1care, operate all lift equipment, postmortem care, occupied bed changes, BH/Withdrawal patients, donning/doffing PPE, attach telemetry leads, strict I & O's for drains, ambulation assist/drains/walker, chest tubes, gait belt application/usage Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates: Able to manage independently and complete tasks timely, willingness to ask questions and collaborate with team and ancillary staff to ensure the best patient experience possible. Positive attitude and flexibility with constant changes which can occur throughout a shiftGSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.
