Assists the Unit Manager in administrating the day to day operation of the following departments: Operating Room; Endoscopy Room. Serves as a role model for professional nursing practice. Maintains 24-hour a day line management and responsibility in administration of personnel, fiscal, and material resources. Utilizes the hospital mission to implement system changes in health care delivery that maintain quality patient care and fiscal integrity. Creatively responds to changes in the work setting. Participates in program planning for new projects. Knowledgeable in clinical areas of supervision, using defined processes to establish goals and outcomes which reflect systems integration in today's dynamic health care environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Licenses and Certifications Required
Current or temporary RN license in ND or compact RN licensure.
BLS required within orientation period.
Educational Requirements
RN program as evidenced by licensure.
Official diploma or transcript from the school/university from where Degree was received.
Experience Requirements
1-2 Years of clinical nursing is desirable. Supervisory experience is desired, but not required.
