Athletic Trainer (AT) - Orthopedics, Physician's Office
Under the supervising physician(s), the athletic trainer will provide clinical support to the physicians and physician assistants and play an integral role in the day-to-day operations of the clinic. Through collaboration with other athletic trainers and allied health care professionals, the athletic trainer provides high-quality care to Cheshire Medical Center patients and may also provide services to patients outside Cheshire Medical Center, where services have been contracted with the hospital.
Graduation from a CAATE accredited Athletic Training Education Program is required. One year of experience as a NATA Certified Athletic Trainer, but new graduates are welcome to apply. Current NATA BOC recognition as a Certified Athletic Trainer. Licensed, or eligible for licensure, as an Athletic Trainer in the State of New Hampshire. BLS - within 3 months of hire and maintained on a biannual basis.
