Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner
Description
The Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner is a key member of Allegro's Integrated Behavioral Health Team. Core clinical work focuses on managing behavioral health medications for Allegro's more complex pediatric patients.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Direct clinical patient care

- In person (seeing patients in a pediatric medical clinic)
- Telehealth
- Clinical competency with medication management for children and adolescents with behavioral health diagnoses such as, but not limited to, ADHD, anxiety, and depression
- Close collaboration with other Behavioral Health Team members and pediatricians
- Confidence to work independently
- Willingness to coach primary care pediatricians about behavioral healthcare
- Communication skills, including sensitivity to the confidential nature of behavioral issues
- Desire to collaborate with behavioral health specialists in the community
- Time management skills
- Flexibility to adapt as healthcare changes
- Leadership skills and interest to help shape the next evolution of Allegro's integrated behavioral health program
Requirements
- Current WA State Nurse Practitioner License
- Current CPR certificate
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Comfortable training and working in a medical EHR
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Office 365
- Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to all clinics as staffing needs change
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- To uphold safety for all employees and patients, we require vaccination status for new hires, including hybrid schedules, at the time of hire and annually

- All employees must follow universal medical precautions, including wearing a mask when working directly with patients in clinic
Education:
- Current WA State Nurse Practitioner License
- Current CPR certificate
