IQVIA Commercial Engagement Services is looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team and drive growth within our Market Access and Patient Activation division, helping our clients with strategy through to delivery, and giving patients better access to innovative treatments.

What You'll Do:

  • Prospect & Leverage: Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities within existing and potential customer accounts.
  • Network & Build Relationships: Actively engage with industry professionals to establish connections and uncover opportunities.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with Sales Management to develop and execute comprehensive sales plans for target accounts.
  • Lead Sales Process: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, coordinate proposals, respond to bids, and manage contractual documents.
  • Customer Engagement: Maintain visibility within customer organisations, ensuring satisfaction through regular communication.
  • Sales Reporting: Track and report all sales activities in our CRM system, providing insights and updates to Sales Management.


What You Need:

  • Minimum of 5 years in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Desirable understanding of drug discovery and development principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook) and Internet research.
  • Excellent ability to analyse customer data, interpret industry trends, respond to bids, create proposals and communicate effectively.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a team player capable of managing time efficiently and working independently.
  • Ability to build relationships with clients, truly understand their challenges and proactively propose solutions to combat these"
