In our Human Health Digital, Data, & Analytics organization we are transforming to better power decision-making across our end-to-end commercialization process, from business development to late lifecycle management. As we endeavor, we are seeking a dynamic talent to be a founder and serve in the role of Human Health Digital, Data & Analytics (HHDDA) Operational Excellence Financial Management leader.
In this capacity, this role will help HHDDA realize the aspiration for the Operational Excellence capability. This individual will help to ensure a One HHDDA approach, in close collaboration with our company, partners and leaders across the globe. This leader will help establish standards and processes that will drive culture, ways of working, and seamless execution of cross-cutting enablers.
Specifically, the HHDDA Operational Excellence (OE) Business Operations Analyst will:
• Lead Budget and forecasting activities:
o Working knowledge of department and non-department budgets concepts.
o Direct the completion and provide guidance and analysis of quarterly forecast templates, ensuring forecast targets are achieved.
o Track restatements and ensure processing during budget cycles.
o Support Annual Planning activities.
• Lead Financial management activities:
o Guide monthly meetings with Leadership to review financials.
o Analysis and reconciliation forecast and actual variances.
o Support leaders and teams with financial expertise and analysis to assist in making financially sound decisions for the company.
o Provide financial training where needed.
o Update forecast in SAP as needed.
o Make recommendations regarding SAP structure and setup.
o Establish network activities as required.
o Complete monthly reclasses of expenses to the correct department budgets and/or cost element in SAP.
o Support year end close processes.
o Manage and support tax processing.
• Support and track saving initiatives
o Collaborate with HHDDA team members to collect supporting documentation.
o Collaborate with Procurement and Finance to achieve savings targets.
• Support vendor management activities
o Execute PRs while complying with our Company's procurement policy.
o Ensure POs are issued timely and in accordance with our Company's policy.
o Manage and monitor invoices status, ensure invoices are actioned timely.
o Processing of all journal entries and inter-company chargebacks.
o Submit accruals in accordance with financial policies.
• Liaison with HHDDA leaders and budget owners. Elevate risks, issues and concerns to the appropriate leadership.
• Liaison between finance and procurement for the HHDDA organization.
• Establish new Ways of Working through continuous review & improvement of processes, such as standardize & simplify, automate time-intensive manual steps.
• Help to enforce financial controls within the organization, including assurance of financial integrity and accuracy around the monthly close process.
• Lead process mapping activities, make recommendations for enhancements and automation.
• Identify finance and procurement data sources required for automation and business reporting.
• Lead meetings with finance and procurement to document data sources and key understandings.
Education:
BA/BS degree in areas of the following: Finance, Economics, Accounting and or Business Management
Position Qualifications
Knowledge and Skills:
• At least 5 years of experience in finance in international company preferred.
• Strong Accounting background is a plus.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and in a team environment.
• Flexible work style in a changing work environment.
• Strategically thinking in objectively complex and ambiguous situations.
• Critical and analytical thinking.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
Effective September 5,2023 our U.S. Hybrid work model will be as follows: 1. Three total days on site per week: Tuesday and Wednesday - plus one additional day of choice based on what works best for organizations and/or teams. 2. Fridays will formally be a remote-working day unless business critical tasks require onsite presence.
Under New York City, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate's relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected salary range:
$107,600.00 - $169,400.00
