Cardiac Rehab RN or Exercise Physiologist

Job Summary: Skills Competency. Evaluate the patient's physical and mental status in order to facilitate optimal rehabilitation. Education of the patient and implementation of an exercise program to achieve goals.

Qualifications/Reporting:

Required minimum education: Current TX RN license or Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Physiology.

Required minimum experience: Minimum three to five years' experience in Cardiac Rehabilitation or Registered Nurse with three to five years' nursing experience. Prefer cardiac rehabilitation experience.

Required skills (if applicable): Evaluates the physiological aspects and determines an exercise program in order to facilitate achievement of optimal physical and mental reconditioning. Evaluates patients and detects risk factors for heart disease, provides patient education, and emotional support to facilitate the rehabilitation process. Documentation and reporting to patient's physician

Required license/certification: Current CPR and ACLS
