Cath Lab Technologist - (Cath Lab Tech)

Available Shifts: 10 D
Pay Rate: $1678.25 - $1838.93



Cath Lab Tech/ IR/VIT Tech needed ASAP
Shift: 6:30AM - 5:00PM / 13 weeks
On call is approximately 1-2 days per week and 1 weekend per month.
Any candidate going to Northwest must be fully vaccinated - declinations are not accepted.
ARRT Req
Must have:
· Strong clinical skills to deal with a variety procedures and patients
· Experience in Cath Lab, IR/Vascular Lab, Electrophysiology procedures
· Rad Techs- Scrubbing/panning and circulating in interventional procedures.
ACLS and BLS required.
Rad Techs- Required- Radiology Technologist – ARRT, certification as a Radiology technician or Cardiovascular Technologist; Registered Cardiovascular Interventional Specialist (RCIS) credential preferred.
In the state of Texas Cardiac Cath Lab techs working with radiological equipment must have MRT license along with the certifications required for their specialty.
Monitoring is preferred but not required
· RNs- experience in circulating, monitoring, and administering conscious sedation in Cath Lab invasive procedures. ICU, ER, and experience in caring for critically ill patients. Scrubbing is preferred but not required
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
· Cardiac, IR, Vascular cases
· EP cases
· Neuro
Best personality Fit:
· Must work well with a variety of personalities, ability to work as a team, communicate effectively, stay calm under pressure, and utilize problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Hospital provide scrubs


Required Qualifications
Cath Lab Technologist, Cath Lab
Experience: 1 year
Licenses: CLT-TX
Certifications: R-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists(Copy needed); BLS-AHA(Copy needed); ACLS-AHA(Copy needed)
AND
Vascular Interventional Technologist, Vascular
Experience: 1 year
AND
Cath Lab Technologist, EP Lab
Weekends: 1 weekend per month.
On Call: On call is approximately 1-2 days per week
SSN Required
DOB Required
Work History: Should not be more than 90 days of gap in last 1 year
