Rocky Mountain Behavioral Health Inc. (RMBH) is a community non-profit agency serving Southern Colorado for over 45 years with quality, compassionate, evidence-based treatment for individuals struggling with substance abuse & mental health issues. We are excited to be expanding our service to Colorado Springs and are in need of qualified, leaders in Behavioral Health profession.
*QUALIFICATIONS*
RMBH is now hiring experienced clinicians for our growing co-occurring programs in Colorado Springs and Canon City. Minimum bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences, or Certified Addiction Specialist (CAS) but master’s in social work (MSW,) Clinical Social Work (CSW,) Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) or a related discipline preferred.
The position is an integral part of our evidenced based outpatient (OP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs which promote the wellbeing and recovery of individuals suffering from substance abuse and/or mental health issues. This position will be responsible for direct client care, facilitating individual and group therapy, coordination of care with referral sources, and case management. The position also supports the development of programs and implementation of evidenced based curriculum and modalities to drive forward a culture of client centered trauma-responsive care.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES *
o Assessment, treatment plan, weekly staffing, and implementation of level of care based on client needs.
o Ability to plan, implement, and adjust a course of treatment as required.
o Complete documentation, progress notes, updated treatment plans, monthly reports in accordance with agency and state standards.
o Knowledge of state laws surrounding documentation, reporting, confidentiality, and working with government agencies and vendors required.
o Facilitates trauma-responsive therapeutic interventions via individual and group therapy.
o Maintains moderate to heavy caseload.
o Collaboration of care within the agency and referral sources
o Deploy resources efficiently and effectively toward clinical expansion.
o Spearhead organization-wide trauma-responsive clinical initiatives and modalities
o Completes other duties as assigned.
