What You'll Do:

Assist patients by escorting them to exam rooms
Obtain vital signs, including temperature, heart rate, blood pressure, and more
Document patient histories and chief complaints in our system
Prepare patients for exams and procedures (positioning, draping, disinfecting)
Assist with exams and perform procedures such as EKGs and wound care
Place leads and perform EKGs
Conduct ear lavages and remove sutures or staples from superficial wounds
Apply basic dressings and collect specimens for lab work
Draw blood and obtain other specimens as ordered by the provider
Run various lab tests, including CBC, CMP, BMP, and more
Apply splints and remain flexible for cross-training
Take on additional tasks as needed to support our mission and values

Position Details:

Full-time, seasonal position
12-hour shifts with rotating weekends
Starting pay: $14/hour and up, depending on experience

What You Bring:

We're looking for someone with a Medical Assistant certification, strong computer skills, and a heart for helping others. You should have excellent customer service, the ability to prioritize, and a commitment to confidentiality. Most importantly, we want team members who are ready to have fun while delivering excellent care.

Training Requirement:

All newly hired employees must participate in a 4-day training session in Texarkana, TX as part of their onboarding process.
