Certified Nursing Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY: The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides basic Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and assists with data collection under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The CNA assists with inpatient care throughout nursing areas and is responsible for the safe transport of patients via wheelchair or stretcher, and appropriate documentation of services. The CNA provides the services of an Observer for any patient on a patient care unit who has been assessed to require constant observation in order to maximize his/her safety. The CNA assists as needed with general receptionist and clerical duties in order to facilitate efficient functioning of the nursing unit.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • State of Alaska Certified Nursing Assistant Licensure upon hire.
  • BLSP (CPR) from the American Heart Association.


CPH offers competitive pay and benefits including health insurance, retirement, paid time off and many more! Starting pay is $19.30/hr. - $22.06/hr. depending on experience. Additional compensation is also available for night & weekend shifts.
