Child Psychiatrist

Justice Resource Institute (JRI) is seeking a full-time (32hr/wk.) Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist for their Intensive Residential Treatment Programs (IRTPs) in Tewksbury, MA.

You will be responsible for the trauma-informed psychiatric management of adolescents between the ages of 13-18, coping with severe emotional, behavioral, and attachment issues.

You will have the opportunity to transform the lives of children and families, including:

  • Complex diagnostic assessment.
  • Psychopharmacological management.
  • Parent guidance.
  • Team consultation.
  • Comprehensive treatment planning.


Multidisciplinary team collaboration is integral to this position. Psychiatric services are provided on-site. This position includes light call responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must have prior experience working with latency-aged children who have acute or complex psychiatric presentations.
  • Candidate must have completed a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from an accredited program.
  • Candidate must be Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
  • Candidate must hold or be eligible for Massachusetts medical licensure.
