Clinical Exercise Physiologist or RN - Cardiac Rehab/Wellness Center
Hours of Job
- Part-time, 20 hours per week.
- 1st shift with varying start times of 5:45 a.m., 6:30 a.m.,7:30 a.m.,8:30 a.m.; or 10:00 a.m.
- Weekends are every 7th Saturday, no holidays required at this time.
Duties and Key Responsibilities
- The Clinical Exercise Physiologist/ Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient/client care through assessment, evaluation, planning, and plan implementation.
- Completes assessments of patients/clients and documents appropriately.
- Establishes and updates the patient/client files as necessary to maintain patient/client progression through their program.
- Collaborates with physicians and other health team members in developing an Individualized Treatment Plan.
Requirements
- Basic clinical skills in patient/client assessment, problem solving, and decision-making.
- Flexibility in scheduling to meet department needs.
Education/Certifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or have a bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology or related field with appropriate clinical hours.
- Licensed to practice nursing in the State of Ohio or ACSM Clinical Exercise Physiologist (If certification is not current at the time of hire certification must be obtained within 6 months or within another time frame agreed upon by the area supervisor).
Experience
- One year of experience including clinical rotation.
