Clinical Research Nurse
Job Summary
- The role of the Clinical Research Nurse (CRN) is to facilitate and coordinate clinical research studies as part of a multidisciplinary team with roles and responsibilities involving regulatory document processing, interactions with sponsors and Contract Research Organizations (CRO) as well as Institutional Review Boards.
- The CRN coordinates and oversees assigned study activities in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- The CRN performs study assessments as delegated by the Principal Investigator as well as processes and ships study specimens, dispenses and accounts for investigatory products as well as maintains study supplies and study file documents.
- The CRN reports to the System Director of Research Operations.

Qualifications
Education Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing OR - Certification in specialty by recognized accrediting agency OR enrolled in RN to BSN or RN to MSN program with minimum 12 credits completed within previous 12 months
- Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
Experience
- Relevant Experience
- Research experience preferred, but not required
Certification and Licensure
- BLS Certification
- PA Registered Nurse License
