Clinician (Pasos)

General Responsibilities:
- Provides direct therapeutic services to clients and program participants as needed, including group work and family therapy;
- Coordinate services for each you in conjunction with Case Manager;
- Participates in staff meeting and offer clinical feedback regarding client treatment need;
- Attends, facilitated, and assists with providing on-going education and support services to foster parents;.
- Provides record keeping and documentation for all clinical activities in accordance with programs and ORR policy.
Education/Training: Bachelor's degree in Social Work with clinician experience or; Master's degree is psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science in which direct clinical experience is a program requirement or; Bachelor's degree and 5 years clinical employment experience in the behavioral sciences may be accepted AND; Licensure to provide clinical services or eligible to obtain professional licensure or registration (dependent on licensure requirements by state).
Experience: Five or more years of experience working with refugee and/or immigrant populations, preferred.
ADA: Ability to sit, stand, lift, bend, reach, push, and pull items weighing up to 25 lbs.; visual and auditory skills

Staff receive excellent training through a comprehensive paid general orientation including customer service training. Diakon also maintains a discretionary emergency fund, which can be of assistance to staff members during critical times.
