• POSITION SUMMARY:
  
  
  • Under the direction of the licensed nursing personnel, performs direct and indirect designated resident care within the scope of practice as defined by the certification.
• QUALIFICATIONS:
  
  
  • EDUCATION:
    
    
    • Minimum:
      
      
      • Must be able to read and write English
    • Preferred:
      
      
      • High school degree or GED
  • LICENSE:
  • PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:
    
    
    • Minimum:
      
      
      • Current New York State Nurse Aide Certification.
  • WORK EXPERIENCE:
    
    
    • Preferred:
      
      
      • Prior Nursing Assistant and/or LTC experience
  • SKILLS:
    
    
    • Minimum:
      
      
      • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner.
      • Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.
      • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills.

Salary Range: 18.44-20.87
