Responsibilities:
Communicate effectively with hospital personnel, patients, co-workers, and the public.
Perform venipuncture for injections and IV management for power injector use.
Work with patients of all ages (infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adult and elderly.)
Perform numerous tasks at once, prioritize workload and organize workflow.
Follow established Universal Standard and Radiation Safety precautions.
Accommodate fluctuation in daily schedule, including but not limited to overtime, irregular hours and on-call responsibilities.
Experience Required for Your Success
Education Requirement
Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Experience
1-2 years of experience working as a CT Technologist, or;
Successful completion of a CT Externship through an approved CT school
License/Certifications
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (RT.R.ARRT) certification in Radiography required.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (RT.CT.ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography required.
Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) strongly preferred at time of hire, required within 3 months of hire.
