This locum tenens role focuses primarily on extractions and denture-related procedures, with the possibility of some restorative work. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both simple and surgical extractions, including alveoplasty and full mouth extractions. Familiarity with immediate and partial denture procedures is essential.
Job Responsibilities:
• Perform treatment plans, impressions, rebases, repairs, wax try-ins, and soft liners
• Handle immediate and partial denture delivery and related steps
• Conduct simple and surgical extractions, including alveoplasty and full mouth extractions
• Potentially perform restorative work such as bridges, crowns, and fillings (approximately 10% of cases)
• Utilize on-site lab for same-day services
• Maintain proper documentation and patient records
Requirements:
• Valid DDS or DMD degree
• Active dental license
• Current DEA certification (preferred, some exceptions may be granted)
• Certificate of Insurance (COI)
• Experience with extractions (simple and surgical, including alveoplasty and full mouth)
• Proficiency in immediate and partial denture procedures
