SLP Communication Foundations is looking for a Speech Language Therapist to provide SLP services to our EI populations! This Early Intervention position provides the ability for each CCC or CFY to create your own schedule with flexible hours. A career in Early Intervention offers a unique opportunity to work directly with children & their families in the home & community.

We are currently seeking a CCC or CFY SLP in the Northern Dutchess County area. Full time, part time and per diem opportunities available!

Supportive supervision provided to our CF SLP candidates!

As a Speech Therapist with SLP Communication Foundations, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Treat children between the ages of birth - 3 years old and/or preschool age populations
  • Collaborate with case coordinators
  • Work closely with families, caregivers, and other professionals
  • Train caregivers on strategies / activities to achieve goals for their children
  • Work in partnership with a team of other caregivers


We believe in a team approach with collaborative support to our Speech Therapists that is geared toward providing high quality therapy services to the EI children and families whom we serve.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Masters with degree in communication disorders / SLP program
  • Current State Speech Licensure or eligible for state provisional or limited license
  • Driver's License
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Goal oriented approach with ability to utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to learn and utilize technology


Responsibilities:

  • Provide Early Intervention speech and language services to children and their families in their home, daycare, community.
  • Work closely with caregivers
  • Prepare and submit daily session notes, progress notes, and other reports
