Electrical Engineer - (Industrial, Power Plant, Chemical Experience )

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Field Engineer with experience in industrial settings or power plants to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing electrical installations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Management: Supervise electrical installation activities, ensuring they are executed in accordance with project specifications and timelines.
  • Technical Oversight: Review electrical drawings and specifications, ensuring accurate interpretation and implementation in the field.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections and testing of electrical systems and equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to facilitate efficient project execution and address any technical challenges.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily reports, inspection records, and change orders.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve electrical issues during construction, providing solutions to minimize project delays.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety on-site.
  • Training: Assist in training and mentoring junior engineers and field staff as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of [X years] experience in electrical engineering within the construction industry, specifically in industrial or power plant environments.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., EIT, PE) are a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in electrical design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar).
