Emergency Medicine Physician Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Eastern North Carolina

A health system is seeking an emergency medicine physician for locum tenens coverage.

Coverage is needed from May 1215 and 2223 (9:00 PM 7:00 AM), then every other week from June 5 August 31 (ThursdaySunday, 9:00 PM 7:00 AM) and June 13 September 8 (FridayMonday, 9:00 PM 7:00 AM). The role is outpatient only with no call responsibilities. The average volume is 100 patients per day (about 1.8 per hour) with an inpatient census of 20. There are no ICU or critical care duties, but the provider will respond to codes. After-hours admissions are handled by the hospitalist, and standard EM procedures are required.
