Wake Forest Emergency Providers (WFEP) provide staffing for the Cone Health Emergency Department sites through a services agreement between these world-class organizations. Alamance Regional Medical Center, a part of the Cone Health network, is a not-for-profit community healthcare organization committed to improving the health of the citizens of Alamance County and its surrounding communities through the provision of a continuum of high quality clinical, educational, preventive-wellness, and support services in a safe and friendly environment.
As an Emergency Medicine Physician, you will work alongside other EM Physicians, EM APPs, and EM nurses and staff to take care of patients and save lives. Although the focus of this role is primarily clinical, there will be Career Development opportunities with access to get involved in Education, Administration and Leadership.
Requirements:
- Emergency Medicine Board Certified / Board Eligible
- North Carolina Medical License (or eligibility)

Cone Health Alamance Regional Emergency Medicine Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers are employed by Wake Forest Emergency Providers. As an affiliate with Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist (AHWFB), Wake Forest Emergency Providers (WFEP) is a nationally recognized, 501c3 non-profit, proudly providing health care for all! We are contracted with select, partner organizations to provide staffing for Hospital Emergency Departments, Free Standing Emergency Departments, and Urgent Cares throughout the North Central and Northwest regions of North Carolina.
