As a Finance Analyst, you will manage client contract processing in SFDC, oversee revenue forecasting and budgeting, and conduct cost analysis and reporting for the Czech and Slovak Country Units. This role involves close collaboration with both Local Country Teams and Regional functions.
Essential Functions
- Coordinate tasks related to the administration of the revenue contracts in CRM and accounting systems.
- Identify potential clients' contract risks and issues and communicates concerns to appropriate IQVIA representatives and implements necessary solutions.
- Perform analysis of monthly revenues and costs
- Assist during meetings with cost center managers.
- Assist forecasting and preliminary budget preparation in planning system both for revenue and expenses.
- Highlight major concerns relating to forecasts or budget to immediate supervisor to seek guidance on how to proceed.
- Prepare monthly journal entries for review by others and compile all source documentation related to the financial reporting.
- Be familiar with, and ensure compliance with, internal financial accounting procedures and policies.
- Ensure all financial and accounting records are thoroughly maintained and complete in preparation for independent audits.
- Perform other finance related ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in accounting or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Proficiency in General Ledger accounting and technical accounting skills.
- Familiarity with finance modules of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP and PeopleSoft.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of finance planning and reporting applications is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills.
- Ability to identify financial issues and implement mitigating actions.
- Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work requirements to meet deadlines.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers, and clients.
- Proficiency in Czech/Slovak and fluency in English is required.
