Hematology/Oncology Physician Associate Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Tacoma, Washington

A large medical center, part of large health system, is seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician Associate for locum tenens coverage.
Tacoma, WA, situated on beautiful Puget Sound, has a wealth of cultural opportunities, outdoor activities, restaurants, parks, and wildlife. Point Defiance Park brings visitors and residents in touch with fine beaches, hiking through old-growth forests, botanical gardens, and historic sites.
This full-time position offers flexible scheduling with either five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts, plus 1:4 night/weekend call. The role includes seeing patients for survivorship, advance care planning (ACP), chemo state visits, benign hematology consultations, and pre-chemo follow-ups. The practice involves 60% oncology (primarily solid tumors) and 40% hematology, with no bone marrow transplants or leukemia cases. The EMR system used is EPIC/Beacon, and experience with these systems is a plus. The credentialing timeline is 90 days, and the team is well-supported with MAs and RNs. Both PA and ARNP candidates will be considered.
