HVAC MECHANIC

Position Summary: Maintains, repairs, and installs all refrigeration, cooling, and air conditioning systems and equipment of the hospital.

Position Qualifications: Minimum Education: Post high school vocational/specialized training Required Certification/Registration: Licensures as required Physical Demands: Prolonged, extensive, or considerable standing/walking Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching Heavy physical effort (lift/carry up to 50 lbs) Pushes/pulls or moves/lifts heavy equipment/supplies Manual dexterity and mobility Working Conditions: Exposed to hazards from electrical/mechanical/power equipment May be exposed to toxic chemicals Works in precarious or high locations (ladders, scaffolding)
