BPN Staffing Solutions is currently seeking an ICU RNs to fulfill a 13-week contract at facilities in the Topeka, KS. area.
The RN Clinical Nurse I provides professional nursing care through skillful assessment of diagnosis outcomes identification planning implementation and evaluation by facility or department policies procedures and/or protocols under the supervision of the nursing leader. Assists in maintaining a safe work environment and safely performs all related job responsibilities. Maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the population of patients served.
Contract Details:
- 13-week travel contract
- Shifts available: Days - 7a-7p 3x12-Hour
- Weekly pay (w/ travel stipend included)
- Weekly Gross is $2,124-$2,304
- Unit welcomes first time travelers
- 2 years experience required\
- Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Float Required
Looking for ICU nurses that have done surgical or medical with some that are CVICU. Many of our ICU patients are cardiac with surgical and medical backgrounds. CRRT is common on the unit as well as open hearts. We have seen an increase in IABP and Impella. Must be able to manage two vent patients with multitasking on multiple drip titrations
Mixed ICU / CVICU unit
Experience:
- Must have at least 2 recent years of ICU experience
- At least 1 year of acute care experience
- Coronary Care ICU experience required
- Experience with External Pacemakers, Impella, IABP, Swan Catheters, CRRT required
- Requires: Post cardiac recovery patients; CRRT
