Immediate Need for Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in NYC, NY

A FQHC is seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage.
As much as you've heard about New York City there are still constantly changing things to do. Everywhere you look, you can find little coffee shops to stop in or bars to have a drink at after work! Take some time at Central Park to take in the sites while on assignment. There are tours for everything in the city so be sure to research what you want to do before heading to the city that never sleeps.
The position requires a one-week credentialing timeframe if the provider has a NY Medicaid number. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with a 30-minute lunch and 30-minute administrative time. The provider will see an average of 21 patients per day, with a preference for Family Medicine physicians who can see patients aged 5 and older, though Internal Medicine physicians seeing 18+ are also considered. Required certifications include BC or BE, DEA, and BLS, with mandatory COVID and flu vaccinations (initial COVID shot required). Support staff includes an LPN handling injectables and an MA assisting with prep. The ideal candidate must have a NY Medicaid number and at least two years of experienceno new graduates.
