Infrastructure Engineer
General Summary: As a customer focused, high energy provider of front-line IT support, the Infrastructure Engineer ensures the IT infrastructure is sufficiently robust, scalable, and efficient to deliver the collaborative services underlying the physical environment that supports processes, resources, and operations required for developing, integrating, functioning, and sustaining the organization's environment. Working with staff throughout the organization and at remote offices, the Infrastructure Engineer resolves issues, corrects problems, configures, deploys and moves equipment and provides instruction to end users as needed. In addition, the Infrastructure Engineers provide after hours support on a rotating basis.
Essential Job Functions*:
- *Responds to and manages help desk tickets
- *Responsible for the setup, deployment and troubleshooting of computers, including imaging, software installation, configuration of peripherals and maintenance, including wired and wireless networking
- *Responsible for network printing configuration and support
- *Responsible for the setup and support of analog, digital and IP Phones and phone lines
- *Supports applications used in the organization's environment
- *Supports active directory users and computers, including setup, domain joins and password resets
- *Analyses issues and requests, and develops solutions that best fit with the environment and support the needs of end users
- *Supports audio visual needs for meetings as needed
- *Works with vendors to leverage support for installed products
- *Orders equipment, adhering to policies and procedures regarding equipment acquisitions and deployment
- *Maintains inventory based on customer requirements
- *Observe and analyze workflow issues with customers to remediate or recommend changes
- *Performs other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Education
Required: A Bachelor's Degree in business or health care related field preferred or equivalent work experience
- Work Experience
Required:
- Minimum of 1-year experience in a related health care setting
- 1-3 years in clinical setting
- 1-3 years' experience with EHR
- Licensure/Certifications/Registrations
Required: Valid Driver's License
