Intern Surgical Technologist

Summary

Under the direction and guidance of a surgical technologist, this position is responsible for assisting the surgical team before, during and after surgery by performing various tasks, including but not limited to stocking supplies, draping, instrumentation handling, and instrument counts.

Minimum Qualifications

1. High school graduate or equivalent.
2. Current enrollment in an accredited Surgical Technology program.
3. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).

Preferred Qualifications

1. Prior healthcare work experience.
