Statement of Purpose:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) supports the daily clinical and administrative activities in the Employee Health (EH) clinic. The LPN must demonstrate a competent level of behavior in a professional role in order to promote optimum physical and mental health and prevent illness and injury while working for Milford Regional.
Qualifications:
Education: High School or G.E.D required. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Certification/License: Current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Massachusetts required
Current CPR skills required.
Experience: One year experience is preferred.
Experience in occupational health, community health, ambulatory care, or emergency nursing preferred.
Skills: Computer proficiency.
Excellent interpersonal skills are required to interact effectively with all organizational levels.
Demonstrated organizational skills.
Ability to express ideas clearly in verbal and written forms
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to maintain confidential information.
Phlebotomy (preferred)
Must be willing and able to travel to ancillary locations for health promotion activities.
