Details:

• Seeking four full time EM Physicians to provide coverage for two facilities in Laredo, Texas. (48 shifts)
• Providers must be BC/BE in EM or BE/BC in PC with 4,000 of EM experience, ATLS, ACLS, PALS, Completed residency, 2 years of ED experience
• Alternative boards (ABPS, etc) not accepted.
• Schedule options of 6a-6p or 6p-6a, no call required
• Minimum number of shifts acceptable: 6
• Main facility annual volume: 48k
  • Patients/day: 131
  • Trauma Level III
  • 38 ED beds
• Secondary facility annual volume: 10k
  • Patients/day: 27
• EMR: Cerner
• No scribe coverage
• Privileging timeline 60 days, Expedited locums privileging available
• Backup specialties: IM, Peds, Cardio, GI, OB, Neurology, Neurosurgery, ENT, Ortho, Surgery, Cath lab
