Locums Geriatric Medicine Nurse Practitioner

We are
seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team as a
Locums Geriatric Medicine provider in Mishawaka, IN. This full-time position
offers a fulfilling opportunity to provide compassionate, high-quality care to
geriatric patients in a supportive and collaborative healthcare environment.
The schedule includes working Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with
rotating on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will provide comprehensive medical care to geriatric
patients, including the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and
chronic conditions. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to
develop and implement individualized care plans and address patient and family
concerns, offering education on managing health conditions and optimizing
quality of life. On-call duties include one week on, one week off, with 24-hour
call coverage on weekends. Additionally, you will maintain accurate and
detailed patient records in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Schedule:

• Full-time: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM
  to 4:00 PM
• Rotating call schedule: One week
  on, one week off
• Weekend call coverage: 24 hours

Requirements:

• Active Nurse Practitioner
  certification through AANP or ANCC.
• Valid Indiana state license to
  practice as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Experience in geriatric medicine
  is highly preferred.
