LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) - $45/hr.

Glen Island Center in New Rochelle, NY is hiring LPN (Licensed Practical Nurses) for per diem, part-time and full-time positions.

We have openings for 5x8, 3x12, and 4x12 shifts. The shifts are:
* 7AM-3PM, 3PM-11PM, and 11PM-7AM (8 hour shifts)
* 7AM-7PM and 7PM-7AM (12 hour shifts)

*Regular Rate: *$45/hr.

*Overtime/Holiday Rate: *$67.50

Our staff are paid on a W2 Form which means taxes are deducted from their wages.

*Pay Period: *Sunday through Saturday

*Pay Day: *EVERY Thursday (Weekly Pay)

*Payment Methods: *Direct Deposit, Mailed Check, In-Office Pick-Up

We offer our LPN (Licensed Practical Nurses) full flexibility and control over their schedules! Staff gets to create their schedule based on their availability and shift preferences.

We work with our staff schedule because we understand that some staff are continuing their education and some have young children.

*Duties*
* Perform routine nursing duties under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
* Monitor patients' vital signs and report any abnormalities to the medical team
* Assess and treat patients with complex wounds, ostomies, or continence conditions
* Assist with patient assessments and care planning
* Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and treatment plans
* Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

*Qualifications*
* Valid New York State LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license
* Valid BLS / CPR Certification
* Experience in long term care and nursing homes
* knowledge of EHR / EMR systems
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing healthcare practices
