LPN Physician Practice-Berkshire Medical Center, Gastroenterology, Shift: Day, 40 hrs.

Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse supports the nursing process and functions under the direction of the MD/PA. The Licensed Practical Nurse must adhere to policy and procedure for Berkshire Medical Center and Berkshire Faculty Services clinical services.

Experience

• Experience in specimen testing and physician office experience preferred.

Education and Training

• Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing. Has a thorough knowledge of nursing principles and procedures.

License & Certification

• LPN - Licensed Practical Nurses
• CPR

Other Requirements

• Demonstrates continuing education in accordance with state regulation.
• Data entry skills preferred, working knowledge of Windows based PC applications required.
• Ability to work independently and take direction.
• Self-motivated and ability to be independent and flexible in a team framework.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday 8 am -4:30 pm
