Medical Assistant (Ambulatory)
The Medical Assistant (MA) is directly responsible and accountable to the Clinical/Branch Manager for assisting physician(s) by performing selected nursing duties such Pap smears; minor surgery and suture removal; obtaining urine specimens and throat cultures; taking weights, heights, and vital signs; stocking rooms and ordering supplies; being responsible for patient flow and maintaining strictest patient confidentiality; as well as providing quality patient care and maintaining good public relations with the patients and their families.
