Medical Biller

Job Summary:

Hey there! We're on the lookout for a superstar Medical Biller to join our awesome team. This gig involves some clerical magic, like filing and tracking insurance claims, and keeping our patients in the loop about their account status. You'll be rocking it out in accordance with NOMS policies and procedures, but don't worry – we're all about a fun and positive work environment!

Essential Functions:

Speedily process insurance and disability claims like a pro.

Play detective with insurance companies to make sure they're paying up correctly.

Be the friendly face who follows up with patients about balances and sets up cool payment plans when needed.

Guard medical records and data like a superhero – confidentiality is key!

Stay ahead of the game with ongoing professional development in healthcare practices and trends.

Become the go-to person for patients' inquiries about account balances.

Chat it up on the phone daily – it's your hotline to success!

Show off your skills by providing monthly summary reports to the big shots: physicians, CEO, CFO, and Director-CBO.

Keep the vibes positive while tackling any other duties that come your way.

Competencies:

Be the NOMS policies and procedures guru.

Speak the language of medical diagnostic coding, medical lingo, and insurance practices.

Prove you're a keyboard ninja with speedy and accurate data input.

Organize and process work like it's nobody's business.

Juggle tasks like a pro – multitasking is your middle name!

Embrace your tech side with mad computer program and application knowledge.

Stay cool under pressure, even with frequent interruptions.

Education and Work Experience:

Past medical office billing experience is like gold to us. Typing and computer skills? Yep, we're into that!

Have at least one year of medical billing under your belt.

High school graduation or GED – we keep it real.

RHIT is cool, but not required. Show us what you've got!
