Dosimetrist needed asap for 13 weeks
Minimum 2 years of experience with radiation safety principles, practices, and regulatory compliance.
Minimum 2 years of experience in the technical aspects of radiation oncology, medical physics, and treatment planning (preferred).
Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare informatics (preferred).
Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
MDCB Certification in Medical Dosimetry (required)
ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy (preferred)
BLS
Proficiency in clinical guidelines, medical terminology, and information/communication systems.
Algebra and trigonometry skills (required); introductory calculus (preferred).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
Eclipse is our Treatment Planning system which is a product of Varian. We have Varian Machines, TrueBeam systems and one is a Varian EDGE system
