Responsibilities
The Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist, is responsible for performance of diagnostic procedures in the area for which they are assigned. This position requires an individual who is highly skilled in areas that they are licensed. This individual helps maintain an excellent rapport between Laboratory staff and other hospital departments.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
- Associates degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences or related field (Required)
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Current Florida License TC or TN - Clinical Laboratory Personnel
- One of the following certificates, in Medical Laboratory Science, is required:
- ASCP
- AMT
- AAB
