Medical Lab Technician - Montana

Job Title: Medical Lab Technician

Job Location: Montana

Type of Facility: Hospital

Length of Assignment: 13 weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: 7a - 5p shifts for 4 days per week with some occasional call coverage

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Perform laboratory tests for both outpatient and inpatient care

- Conduct phlebotomy procedures

- Process and prepare specimens for reference lab testing

- Operate various analyzers including Vitros, Hariba, Siemens, and GE machines

- Utilize Truebridge EMR system for documentation and reporting

- Manage technical components of lab operations

- Run reports and identify potential issues

- Provide on-call coverage as scheduled

- Collaborate with primary care providers and ER staff

- Adapt to working independently with occasional shift overlap

Requirements:

- Current Montana Medical Laboratory Technician license

- Comfort with working independently

- Strong phlebotomy skills

- Experience with various lab analyzers
