Are you a skilled medical technologist looking for a challenging and rewarding career?
We are seeking a highly qualified Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our dynamic laboratory team. As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory testing results.
Key Responsibilities:
Laboratory Procedures: Follow established procedures for specimen handling, processing, testing, reporting, and maintaining records.
Quality Assurance: Maintain records to demonstrate proficiency testing compliance and adhere to quality control policies.
Test Analysis: Analyze specimens using approved testing procedures and review and release test results.
Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines.
Problem Solving: Identify and address issues that may affect test performance or reporting.
Customer Service: If applicable, answer questions from customers or other lab personnel.
Documentation: Maintain complete records of testing performed and ensure proper reagent/test kit management.
Training: Participate in training and educational sessions, including safety training.
Inspections: If needed, participate in government or regulatory agency inspections.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
National certification as an MT or MLT from a recognized organization (ASCP or AMT).
1 year of clinical laboratory experience in highly complex testing (preferred).
Strong understanding of basic laboratory testing principles.
Proficiency in computer systems.
Knowledge of quality control, quality assurance, and laboratory operations.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
