HIGHLIGHTS

FCS is currently expanding our team of oncologist and hematologist in our hospital settings throughout Florida. We're currently hiring a board certified/eligible inpatient physician in the Villages. This is an excellent full time hospitalist opportunity to join a dynamic team committed to providing superior patient and community centered care.

The Villages is a large master planned community in Central Florida, one hour west of Orlando, and a little over an hour northeast of Tampa, the area offers a peaceful and close-knit community, boasts natural surroundings with ample opportunity for outdoor activities. This area sits between two large airports MCO and TPA.

The Brownwood clinic is a well a established location, open for 15 years. Fellows are eligible to apply. The physician group is comprised of nine physicians. Hospitalist schedule is Monday - Friday which includes weekly hospital rounding and weekend call (on-site). The physician can expect 1-2 days in clinic.

POSITION OVERVIEW

  • Team based setting with multidisciplinary approach
  • Inpatient consults at contracted community-based area hospitals with some rotation in clinic
  • Responsibilities will include managing both malignant cancers, and benign hematology diagnosis

  • BC/BE in Hematology/Oncology
  • Rotating call may be required
