E&M Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a MID Chemist (Scientific Support) to join our team in Reston, VA in support of Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). DIA provides intelligence on foreign militaries and their operating environments so the United States and its allies can prevent and decisively win wars. It serves everyone from the president to the soldier in combat through a combination of expert analysis, intelligence gathering, and cutting-edge science and technology.

• Conducts all-source analytic production of national doctrine, strategy, plans, policies, objectives, goals, intentions, command authorities, force structures, and resources relating to foreign weapons programs, foreign military materials, chemical plants, and manufacturing facilities.
• Serves as a technical consultant on topics that include, but not limited to, toxic industrial chemicals, toxic industrial materials, rocket fuels, agriculture, Chemical Weapons, nuclear chemistry, and synthetic organic chemistry and to participate in the development of all-source analysis production.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience and a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, physical chemistry, theoretical chemistry, or a related field or 7 total years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Understanding of chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, or missile programs.
• Demonstrated ability to produce and comply with IC tradecraft standards.
• Demonstrate ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasks.
• Demonstrate in-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and intra-IC boundaries and clearly articulates key findings.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must have and be capable of obtaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance at the required level.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience directly supporting countering chemical weapons, support to DHS components or programs and/or experience providing scientific or technical expertise to the U.S. federal government in chemical weapons and countering weapons of mass destruction (WMD).
• Training or certifications in intelligence analysis, MS Excel, Power Bi, Tableau, R Studio, ALOHA, HPAC, or other data analysis and/or modeling software.
• Superior understanding of DoD Intelligence processes, activities, standards, and available analytic tools
