NURSE PRACTITIONER

Sinai Medical Group employs 295 medical and surgical specialists and primary care physicians who provide care at Mount Sinai Hospital and at Sinai Health System sites in the Chicago area.

The Nurse Practitioner, in collaboration with the physicians, provides medical care and treatment for patients in the gastroenterology clinic. The Nurse Practitioner functions as a member of the health care team to provide high quality, comprehensive acute and/or routine medical care within the scope of practice granted in accordance with the System Health System medical staff bylaws. This position will be located at Ogden Commons Clinic and/or Holy Cross Hospital to support the gastroenterology services of the Sinai Health System. The Nurse Practitioner will promote collaboration between multiple disciplines to ensure cost-effective and quality patient care.

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

• Master's Degree - Nurse Practitioner

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum three (3) years of nursing experience in an inpatient hospital-based practice.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Excellent verbal, writing and interpersonal communication skills.
• Effective leadership and organizational skills.

REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS:

• Current State of Illinois Nursing License.
• Current Advanced Practice License.
