Additional Position Details:

The position is
35% Acute Care
65% Outpaitent
The outpatient caseload is a combination of ortho and adult neuro
Hand therapy and splint fabrication experience is required

Required:
• Graduate of an accredited program of Occupational Therapy and holding a current Occupational Therapy license in the State of California.
• Obtained the minimum level of education required for licensure at the time of original licensing.
• Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• BLS within 2 month of hire and on-going.
• Interpersonal skills necessary in order to instruct/comfort patients/families, and colleagues; to maintain effective communication/contact with healthcare team members.
• Analytical skills necessary in order to prioritize workload develop solutions to problems concerning patient’s body, mind, and spirit.
• Basic computer knowledge including: Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and Intranet.
• Ability to learn Computer software programs including, but not limited to: Cerner Millennium, Policy Manager, OneSource, HPF, One Content, etc.
• Must be able to understand, read, write, and speak English.

Preferred:
• Other professional related experience.
• A Master’s or Doctrate Degree if preferred in Occupational Therapy or other related field.
• AOTA approved certifications and Advanced Practice Continued competency in the occupational therapy field.
