*Nucleus Healthcare *is seeking an *OR Nurse (RN)* to join a prestigious health system in *Southeastern New Jersey.*

*Job Title: *OR Nurse (RN)

*Shift Information: 7 pm to 7 am, Part-Time*

As the *Operating Room (OR) Nurse*, you are responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Other duties you would be responsible for as the OR Nurse include but are not limited to:
* Deliver exceptional nursing care by assessing patient status and considering physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and cultural factors, developing patient care plans, and implementing clinical nursing interventions consistent with the plan.
* Act as a patient advocate, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the surgical process.
* Assist interdisciplinary team in pre-operative preparation, intra-operative assistance, and post-operative care.
* Proficiently operate and maintain surgical equipment, ensuring their proper functioning during procedures.
* Document all patient care activities accurately and concisely in compliance with healthcare regulations.
* Report pertinent observations and reactions regarding patients to appropriate personnel.
* May be required to perform limited laboratory services.
* Support performance improvement initiatives and provide leadership to other members of the patient care team.
* May complete other duties as assigned.

*Required Qualifications:*
* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
* Nurses hired without BSN must be enrolled in a BSN program within 1 year and completion within 3 years.
* Current New Jersey RN license or current multi-state license required.
* BLS required
* ACLS preferred.
* Proficiency in clinical applications preferred.
* Operating room experience required.
* CNOR (certified nurse-operating room/certified perioperative nurse certification) preferred.
