Pediatric Hospitalist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Central Maine

A health system is seeking a pediatric hospitalist for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in central Maine.
All shifts are 12 hours from 7 AM to 7 PM, exclusively in pediatrics, with an average of eight patients per day. Responsibilities include managing 1-3 pediatric floor patients, 1-4 ICU beds, 2-4 admissions and discharges, and overseeing 5-8 patients in the nursery. The role requires supervising medical students and residents during weekday shifts. There is 24/7 in-house anesthesia support for difficult intubations, with telemedicine consults available for NICU and pediatric neurology. The EMR system used is Cerner. Candidates must be board-certified or truly board-eligible with BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications, as well as confidence in delivery attendance and neonatal resuscitation.
