Physical Therapist

Contract details:

  • 8-hour day shifts
  • 40 hours per week
  • No weekends
  • Majority of patients: general ortho and post-operative

Summary:

  • Provides skilled therapeutic interventions to patients, including outpatients, inpatients, pediatrics, and off-site locations
  • Evaluates, plans, and implements Physical Therapy services per professional standards, state laws, and facility policies
  • Collaborates with patients, families, and treatment teams to maximize functional outcomes
  • Assesses and evaluates patients using appropriate tests
  • Develops individualized treatment programs and monitors patient responses
  • Communicates effectively with patients, families, and treatment teams
  • Provides education and training to patients and families
  • Participates in the Clinical Education program and community fitness/wellness programs
  • Maintains competency through continuing education and in-services
  • Participates in process improvement initiatives

​​​​​​​Education & Requirements:

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Licensure/Certifications:
    • Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Ohio
    • CPR Certification
  • Preferred: Doctorate level degree in Physical Therapy
  • Certification in a specialty area (e.g., OCS, SCS, NDT, Lymphedema, Women's Health) preferred
