Contract details:
- 8-hour day shifts
- 40 hours per week
- No weekends
- Majority of patients: general ortho and post-operative
Summary:
- Provides skilled therapeutic interventions to patients, including outpatients, inpatients, pediatrics, and off-site locations
- Evaluates, plans, and implements Physical Therapy services per professional standards, state laws, and facility policies
- Collaborates with patients, families, and treatment teams to maximize functional outcomes
- Assesses and evaluates patients using appropriate tests
- Develops individualized treatment programs and monitors patient responses
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, and treatment teams
- Provides education and training to patients and families
- Participates in the Clinical Education program and community fitness/wellness programs
- Maintains competency through continuing education and in-services
- Participates in process improvement initiatives
Education & Requirements:
- Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Licensure/Certifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Ohio
- CPR Certification
- Preferred: Doctorate level degree in Physical Therapy
- Certification in a specialty area (e.g., OCS, SCS, NDT, Lymphedema, Women's Health) preferred
