*Cedar Home Health is looking for a Full-Time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)*
*\*\*Position Overview:\*\**
We are looking for a Full-Time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and is eager to contribute to our patient-centered approach. As a PTA, you will work closely with patients, families, and our interdisciplinary team to implement individualized treatment plans designed to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
*\*\*Key Responsibilities:\*\**
- Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans and providing hands-on therapy to patients in their homes.
- Conduct patient assessments and track progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as directed by the physical therapist.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, home safety, and techniques to improve mobility and function.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation, including treatment progress and changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with best practices in physical therapy.
*\*\*Qualifications:\*\**
- Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Proven experience in a home health care setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to perform patient evaluations and develop effective treatment plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a home health setting.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for traveling to patient homes.
